Arlington Views is a small, clean neighborhood located in Arlington County Virginia. It homes in Arlington Views VAoccupies an area of 0.118 square miles and is bounded  by  Columbia Pike and Washington Boulevard to the north, Shirley Highway to the east, Army-Navy Country Club to the south and Rolfe Street to the west.  This neatly enclosed area which was formerly known as Johnson’s Hill has a past that goes back more than two hundred years.  Today, Arlington View has a vibrant family community.

Arlington View has many well-kept homes.  Most of the homes are single family and slightly more than half are owner occupied.   There are also cooperatives, condominiums and apartments with varying architectural styles.  In addition to colonial townhomes and wooden bungalows, there are small brick houses and tract homes that were built during the 1940s and 1950s. The neighborhood has developed rapidly since the 1960s.  Median income is $45,000 and the median age is 34.  The diverse population of approximately 1,000 residents includes educated professionals, immigrants, urban single parents and elderly residents who have lived there all their lives.

Arlington Views does not have a high school.  The educational institutions include Branch Elementary School, Randolph Elementary School, Henry Elementary School, Jefferson Middle School, St. Thomas More Cathedral School and Our Savior Lutheran School.

Though Arlington View has no historical landmarks, the past is very much alive.  The Mount  Olive Baptist Church, which was established in 1879 and moved to the neighborhood in 1932, attracts a large congregation.  Also set up in 1916 and no longer functioning as a school, the Hoffman-Boston Elementary School is a center for adult and children educational programs.
